Rev. Julie Nelson

Pastor Julie grew up in Bates County, graduating from Miami High School in 1989. She and husband John were married in 1990 and have 4 children together. As of this writing, they also have 8 grandchildren. Julie has been serving the UMC in ministry for many years. She has served as Director of Student Ministries in Nevada Mo, Youth Pastor at Harrisonville Mo, was licensed as a Local Church Pastor in 2015, and will graduate Course of Study through St Paul School of Theology in late 2024. Julie has served Virginia UMC since 2014 and Ohio Street UMC since 2022.
